Romania is involved in a series of comunitaire programs among which LIFE, LEONARDO da VINCI, SOCRATES and YOUTH for culture and education        

The projects promoted by STRES aim to facilitate a better integration of youngsters and disadvantaged from different reason in rural areas to access European labor Market.
Working as promoter or receiving partner on Phare, Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates and Youth Programes, STRES strives to expose its beneficiaries to all type of training system identified through analyses as needs.

CRUDE: Training Pilot Center for Rural Development is a project proposal that fosters to implement Commission's objective regarding VET, into a system of methods and practice skills for trainers and tutors aiming to give all people in rural area better chances on European labor market.
The project will develop a package of training modules for all major specific professional needs of the people living in rural areas all over Europe. The content of the modules will be based on studies, which STRES and its partners performed in several rural areas of their countries, applicable anywhere in Europe
· European standards offered in rural tourism services, specific leisure activities and sports: training measures and standardization of services. Products and Services Quality Evaluation.
· Specific training modules on: environmental protection, green tourism.
· Food production and standards of food safety (HACCP),
· Family business development, traditional crafts and module for women who will undertake establishment of enterprises
· Traditional crafts and preservation of customs through inter-cultural dialog as a form of fight against all forms of discrimination;
· Basic English Language for Tourism Field - the module will provide the students with the most usual terms used in the rural tourism;
· Basic ICT training - module oriented on the training of soft IT Skills will focus on the following aspects: how to edit a document (a letter, fax, offer, etc), how to use e-mail and Internet, e-tourism;
· Basic communications tools - module on how to communicate with clients;
· Notions on marketing and management for tourism field: how to manage, how to buy, how to sell, how to book;
All of these modules will be combined in a Manual on Rural Tourism and Services.
The manual will be elaborated in printed and CD-ROM versions, and will be available in each partner's country language and also in English

TRUE-Transnational RUral Expertise
The Project envisages to provide best practice exchange and training for six vocational planners, managers and guidance counselors in the field of rural tourism aiming to improve and update the competencies of trainers and counselors by giving them the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience in different countries and organizational context. The stages in a foreign environment for the beneficiaries will be the perfect opportunity to concentrate their efforts toward a thorough completion of tasks and the consolidation of the innovative vocational programmes in the area of methods, methodologies, management and technical assistance, image design and promotion including ICT, quality monitoring using statistical methods, implementation of new communicating technologies in the rural programmes development
The consortium joins parties from: Romania, Italy and Ireland and the beneficiaries are members of STRES staff and collaborators that support STRES activity.

TRUST-Transnational RUral STage
The project targets to train twelve youngsters cooperating with the promoter in the field of rural tourism making use of the knowledge gained by the beneficiaries of the placements on their return.
The main aim of the project is to improve the skills and competencies of young rural dwellers and recent graduates in vocational training, as beneficiaries, with a view to their integration into the labium market and their more flexible adaptation to it. In this very respect, the program also attempts to combat unemployment.

CADRU- Canter for Rural Development Assistance
Project based on Priority 1 of PHARE Program-Economic & Social Cohesion- HR Development.
Main Objective: assistance and training in rural development for youngsters and disadvantaged people from different reasons; Justification: cover the need of counseling centers in rural development and facilitating long life learning for people living in industrial restructured areas
Target groups: youngsters not having enough experience and disadvantaged groups ( industrial restructured areas, looking for alternative income, low skilled, women)

ALTRADE - ADULT LEARNING TOOL FOR RURAL AREA DEVELOPMENT
Aiming to create a lifelong learning tool based on partnership approach as first building block, ALTRADE targets to match learning opportunities to rural learners' needs and interests and facilitate their access to information by developing the field research IN RURAL TORUISM to enable "learning by anyone, anywhere, at any time."
